Organize Network

After importing your LinkedIn or phone contacts into Relinkd, the next step is to organize and personalize your network. This helps you prioritize key people, identify potential supporters, and declutter your connections. Using simple ratings, tags, and notes, you'll turn a list of names into a meaningful, actionable network.

Note: If you haven’t imported contacts yet, you’ll see an info message prompting you to connect LinkedIn, Google, or Outlook first.

Why organize your network?

  • Highlight your closest and most supportive contacts

  • Identify potential mentors, collaborators, or casual acquaintances

  • Keep your contact list organized and easy to navigate

  • Create a tailored network to support your personal and professional goals

How to organize your contacts

The fastest way to turn a list of names into a meaningful network is by using the Organize Network button. It walks you through each contact, helping you assign relationship strength, add tags, and leave notes — all in one flow.

This is where you start sorting your imported contacts. You'll see people who haven’t been rated yet, or who are rated below +3.

  • Contacts appear one by one

  • You can set their relationship strength (from -2 to +5)

  • Add tags and notes to give context

  • Contacts rated +3 or higher move to the Relink section

Step-by-step

1

Go to My Network and tap the Organize Network button

2

Tap the Organize your network Button

3

View Your First Contact Card

The first contact from your import will appear. You'll see their name, photo (if available), and options to explore or edit their profile.

4

Tap the LinkedIn Icon (Optional)

Tap the LinkedIn icon to open the person’s full LinkedIn profile in a new in-app browser tab. ↪ When done, tap the back arrow to return to the contact card.

5

Tap View Card

To see more details or contact info, tap View Card on the profile.

6

Set a Relationship Strength

Tap the heart / minus to rate the relationship:

  • +5: Closest inner circle

  • +4 / +3: Strong relationships, mentors, key collaborators

  • +2 to 0: Casual contacts or acquaintances

  • -1 / -2: People you'd prefer to avoid

🤝 Contacts rated +3 or above are automatically moved to the Relink list. 🗂️ Contacts rated below +3 stay in the Organize queue ➖ -1 or -2 contacts are hidden from your main views.

7

Tap Add Tag

Categorize the contact using existing tags (like “Marketing,” “HR,” “Mentor”) or create your own custom tag.

8

Add a Note

Tap to leave a text note or voice note — for example, how you met, what they do, or how they might support you.

9

Tap Next

Once done, tap Next to move to the next contact in your list. You’ll repeat this process as you go through your network.
